As I fall farther into the rabbit hole of 3D miniature printing I learn more and more. I think Zbrush artists in this field are really MacGyvers, for Zbrush being such an organic tool we’re forced in many ways and many times a day to achieve very exact work for plugs and for fitting 2 pieces together after printing. I find my workflow between Maya and Zbrush growing even more symbiotic as the days wear on and find myself using Maya less and less without Zbrush open. Will I even need Maya soon? I uv, retopo, and texture using other programs, and render using Marmoset Toolbag for game models. Weird to think about! A year and a half ago I had never touched Zbrush.
Anyways, I’m just really glad I am getting such a variety of 3D printing work, every client is different, every job is COMPLETELY different and each experience makes me even faster than I was for the one before. Cheers!
